Orders made via this site (or by phone) are not binding to Alchemy Arts, Inc. until they are accepted by Alchemy Arts, Inc.  In other words, we don’t owe you until we agree that you owe us.


We accept payments from credit or debit cards via PayPal.  We do not accept checks or money orders (unless we arrange this with you personally, and you are very special).  We do not accept cash via mail, and hope you know better than to attempt this.  We do not charge your card until we have assembled and packed your order.  Shipping costs, as mentioned below, are approximate – we at the store will determine the least expensive and most logical way to ship your order – and charge you accordingly.  If, for some reason, an item in your order is not available, or there will be a substantial delay in fulfillment, we will contact you prior to charging your card, so that you may change or cancel your order.  You may find exhaustive information on PayPal here: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full


We, in our heart of hearts, fear the machines.  We take every paranoid precaution to keep your information safe.  We do not share your information with any third party, barring a subpoena.  We do not sell your information.  We do not send you junk mail.  We use your information to communicate with you regarding your order, respond to your correspondence, and process your order.  Nothing else, at all, ever.


For sanitary reasons, we do not accept returns of perishable items.  At all.  These include: incense, herbs, salts, oils, curios, and liquids.

In the interest of keeping things simple, consider the following:  If we screwed up, we will cover return costs.  If USPS screwed up, we will cover return costs.  If you, kind viewer, screwed up – you will cover return and restocking costs.
Meaning:  If your item has been damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately!  Return the item to us (cost is not to exceed original shipping rate), and we will reimburse the shipping cost, and either re-ship, or refund the item.  If we ship the incorrect item, please contact us immediately!  Return the item to us (cost is not to exceed original shipping cost), and we will reimburse your shipping cost, and ship the correct item.  Reimbursement of return shipping costs will not exceed the original shipping cost.  If, for whatever reason, you change your mind on your purchase after receiving it, you may return it to us whole and unsoiled, undamaged and in re-salable condition.  You will be charged a restocking fee of 20% of the item price, and be responsible for shipping costs.  Damaged items will not be refunded.  All change-of-heart returns must be made within 7 days of receipt of item.
